The ExamWorks Clinical Solutions leadership team encompasses the most successful executives in the insurance industries. ECS is led by a management team with an in-depth understanding of case management, pharmaceutical and complex claims management, as well as Medicare compliance.


Jeff Gurtcheff
President and Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Gurtcheff profile picture
Jeff Gurtcheff is ExamWorks Clinical Solutions’ President and Chief Operating Officer. Jeff oversees operations, product development, sales, and account management functions for all the ExamWorks Clinical Solutions businesses to include Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance, Field Case Management, and Clinical intervention / cost containment services.

Jeff is an industry veteran of more than 30 years with deeply rooted experience in workers compensation, property, and liability claim best practices, handling, disability management and leadership. Jeff has had the privilege of working for industry leading third party administration companies along with some of the largest and most successful insurers in the market.

Since 2007, Jeff has focused much of his attention to a few key aspects that can drive claim severity and outcomes; Medicare, Return to Work, Opioid abuse, and treating injured workers with respect. Jeff’s experience as a typical customer of ExamWorks Clinical Solutions allows for quick identification and understanding of the issues they face along with practical advice and solutions to help resolve those things most important to the claims adjudication process.

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a BBA in Finance.


Scott Huber 
Senior Vice President of Technology

Scott Huber profile pictureScott Huber joined ExamWorks Clinical Solutions in August of 2006 after working for a web-application development company, a medical diagnostic imaging practice and an IT consulting firm. He brings with him over 15 years of IT experience in large-scale technology initiatives, including teleradiology and a $4M Siebel implementation which earned a Silver Gartner & 1to1 Media CRM Excellence award at the 2010 Gartner 360 Summit.

As a strategic leader and project manager for the company’s Medicare compliance reporting solution, Mr. Huber was instrumental in the development of the fully automated, proprietary application designed to analyze claim data for reporting to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.


Christie Britt
Senior Vice President of MSP Operations


Christie Britt is the Senior Vice President of Operations overseeing the extensive operations of ExamWorks Clinical Solutions. She has vast knowledge of Medicare set asides and MSP Compliance, as well as Insurance Claims.

Prior to her employment with ExamWorks, Christie worked for a decade in insurance claims management, followed by 14 years in all aspects of MSP compliance. She has developed and enhanced products and operational efficiency models supporting growth while ensuring quality.

Christie also served as the Director of Financial Operations for Rising Financial Solutions and the Director of Operations for Health Advocates, Inc. PMSI MSA (formerly Helios and now Optum). Christie obtained her B.S. in Marketing and Economics from the University of South Florida in 1997. She also earned her MBA from the University of South Florida in 2001 with disciplines in Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, and Economics. Christie is MSCC and CMSP certified and has her Green Belt certification in Six Sigma. She is also a member of the National Association of Medicare Set Aside Professionals (NAMSAP) and the Workers’ Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP).


Barry Gregory
Senior Vice President of Clinical Services

Barry Gregory has been the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services at ExamWorks Clinical Solutions since June 2014. From June 2009 to June of 2014 he was a Senior Vice President at Ability Services Network/ MedAllocators. Mr. Gregory has 35 years’ experience leading Field and Telephonic Case Management, Provider Bill Review and UR Services, as well as multi-service sales operations within the managed care arena. From May 1991 to August 2008 he was integral to the growth of CRA which became Concentra Managed Care Services. He began his career as a case manager with Crawford Rehabilitation Services before moving into supervisory and management positions with Constitution State Services where he worked from April 1986 to May 1991. Mr. Gregory is a Masters level CRC. He received a B.A. from the University of Tennessee. 


Marty Cassavoy
Vice President of MSP Compliance

Marty Cassavoy is the Vice President of MSP Compliance for ExamWorks Clinical Solutions. Marty and his team develop solutions to challenges in all areas of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance and across all insurance types.

Marty is a frequent speaker, commentator and writer on all aspects of MSP compliance, where he is often unafraid to challenge the conventional approach to Medicare problems. Marty is a member of the ExamWorks Leadership Team, providing strategic guidance for the organization’s MSP compliance products and services. In his day-to-day role, Marty leads the Compliance Team where he and his talented team collaborate to solve problems, react to industry changes and build innovative MSP compliance solutions.
Marty can think of no greater joy than helping insurance professionals conquer their fear of MSP compliance. His goal is to simplify MSP compliance and improve problem solving skills rather than simply present a laundry list of problems. With this aim in mind, Marty and his team develop engaging and informative MSP compliance educational programs for ExamWorks clients.

Prior to joining ExamWorks, Marty was Vice President of Policy at ISO Claims Partners, where he worked for more than a decade. Marty is a graduate of Boston University and Suffolk University Law School in Boston, where he graduated with honors. Marty is a lawyer licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Outside of the MSP compliance world, Marty can often be found at a baseball diamond, soccer field, basketball court or hockey rink where he is either watching or coaching one of his three talented children.
